Andrew Thompson

Andrew founded TMO Constructions in 2001, and as a licensed builder his reputation for building high quality homes, extensions and renovations has seen many of his customers returning two and even three times. Andrew prides himself on his origins as a tradesman, and still lives by the moral code instilled in him by his mother - “If you are going to do a job, do it right!”. He began his building career as a labourer and has forged many long lasting relationships with suppliers and trades in South East Queensland. Andrew aspires to see TMO to become one of SEQ’s leading builders of choice for Renovations and one off designed homes with a reputation for producing quality work with a human touch.

Dom Harper

Dom originally came from an IT Operations background and has worked as a Chief Operations Officer and Operations Manager for more than 10 years. Dom started out in construction 25 years ago, studying a Bachelor of Building Degree at UNSW, but pursued other career paths after university. Upon joining TMO Constructions he has now come full circle and is enjoying finally putting his learning into practice. Dom has been responsible for delivering on TMO’s software platform that takes our clients building experience to a new level.

Our philosophy is simple – provide our clients with the greatest value by delivering the highest quality home at the most economical price.  There are key components that allow our philosophy to be successful. These include communication, teamwork, and a reliable budget.


Communication is the foundation of a successful project. Our cutting edge software allows us to provide you with the most open and thorough lines of communication. Via secure access to your own portal or via our smartphone App, you will be able to view photos of progress, keep track of when your selections are due, review any communication, and importantly share the excitement of you project with family and friends.


Teamwork is another key component of our philosophy. We understand that a project will be successful when TMO Constructions, along with our clients, the architect and designers are working closely together. This is important from the smallest extension or renovation to a complete new custom home.

Reliable Budgets

Budget setting and reporting must be provided in a streamlined, clear and concise manner for our clients. We recognize that a home may be one of, if not the most important financial decision for our clients. We feel that by understanding our clients’ needs and wishes, we are able to assist in sound decisions to avoid surprises.
